| Lot 64 | A worksplate, NORTH BRITISH LOCOMOTIVE Co Ltd, 27737, 1958, from a standard gauge 0-4-0 diesel-hydraulic locomotive new to Shelton Iron & Steel Ltd, Etruria, Stoke-on-Trent, and named PANTHER. Later became part of the British Steel Corporation and transferred in January 1979 to Bewsey Road Rolling Mills, Warrington, Lancashire. Scrapped there circa 1983. Cast brass, 13¾"x5½", cleaned but unpainted. £100-200 |
