| Lot 488 | A French cabside numberplate, SNCF, 141R, 654, from a Class 141R 2-8-2 built by Baldwin, Works No 72467, in June 1946. A coal burner new to Metz-Frescaty and then to seven depots in Region Est. Withdrawn in December 1974 and scrapped at Sarreguemines in 1975. Cast brass, 22"x14½", the front repainted. £250-400 |
