| Lot 474 | A GWR cabside numberplate, 5221, from a 4200 Class 2-8-0T built at Swindon in May 1924. A long time Swansea East Dock engine, it spent its final years at Duffryn Yard and Neath Court Sart from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 2 November 1963 and sold for scrap to George Cohen at Rotherham on 1 January 1964. Cast iron, repainted. £300-500 |
