A GWR cabside numberplate, 6437, from a 6400 Class 0-6-0PT built at Swindon in April 1937. A long time Aberdare engine, it moved in April 1960 to Gloucester, first to the ex GWR shed and then to the ex LMS shed from where it was withdrawn on 2 July 1963 and cut up at Swindon Works in the week ending 24 August 1963. This auto fitted loco was used on Chalford services during its time at Gloucester. The face repainted. £400-600 |
