A worksplate, ANDREW BARCLAY, 898, 1901, from a standard gauge 0-4-0ST new to Wilsons & Clyde Coal Co. Ltd, Glencraig Colliery, near Lochgelly, Fife, running number 3. Passed with colliery to the NCB on 1st January 1947 and subsequently worked at a number of other collieries in Fife with the running number 49. It finished its days at Mary Colliery, Lochore, where it was scrapped on site by J. Weaver & Co. Ltd. in July 1968. Cast brass, 16¾"x11¾", the front repainted. £200-350 |
