A worksplate, PECKETT, 1964, 1940, from a Peckett type M5 0-4-0ST named CORDIE built in November 1939 and delivered new to Murgatroyd's Salt Co Ltd at Middlewich Works, Sandbach, Cheshire. The company became part of BP Chemicals (UK) Ltd and the loco moved to their Elworth Works. It was scrapped on site by J.& H. Coppenhall of Sandbach around March 1967. Engraved brass, 12"x8½", the front lightly cleaned. £300-350 |
