Locos built by the London Brighton & South Coast Railway at Brighton in 1879 were D Class 0-4-2T Nos 274-291 (18 in all), E/E1 Class 0-6-0T Nos 135-144 (10 in all) and Richmond Class 0-4-2 tender locos Nos 209 and 210 (2 only). It is probably from one of the D or E1 series. Engraved brass, 6¼"x3¾", the front lightly polished. £800-1200 |
