| Lot 203 | A worksplate, NORTH BRITISH LOCOMOTIVE Co, 25876, 1946, from a LNER B1 Class 4-6-0 No 1120 built in January 1947, becoming BR 61120 the following year. A long time Doncaster engine, it moved in 1959 to Retford GC and early in 1965 to Retford GN from where it was withdrawn on 31 January 1965 and despatched for scrap to Maples & Gillott at Sheffield on 10 June 1965. Cast white brass, 13¾"x5½", the front repainted. £150-300 |
