A worksplate BRUSH SULZER 483 1963, from a Class 47 D1755, later 47541 and 47773. New to Landore in August 1964 and named THE QUEEN MOTHER by the lady herself at Aberdeen Station in October 1982. Plates removed in February 1991 and loco renamed RESERVIST when running as 47773 in August 1994. Renamed THE QUEEN MOTHER in August 2002. Withdrawn in March 2004 and sold to Vintage Trains operating out of Tyseley. Cast aluminium, 9¼"x5¾", cleaned but unpainted. £350-500 |
