A worksplate, HUNSLET ENGINE, 7159, 1969, from a standard gauge 0-4-0 diesel-hydraulic locomotive new in November 1969 to Bradford Corporation Water Pollution Control Department, Esholt Purification Works, near Bradford, Yorkshire West Riding. Named PRINCE OF WALES. Sold to Crossley Brothers (Shipley) Ltd. Metal Merchants, Shipley, near Bradford in December 1981, for shunting their yard. The company later became Crossley-Evans Ltd. and the locomotive was still on site in 2017. Cast brass, 11¼"x8", the front repainted. £80-120 |
