| Lot 78 | A GWR cabside numberplate, 6366, from a 53xx Class 2-6-0 built at Swindon in October 1925. A long time Reading engine, its later sheds were Swindon, Pontypool Road, Tredegar, Ebbw Junction and Cardiff Canton from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 1 September 1962 and taken for scrap by Cashmores at Newport on 10 July 1963. Cast iron, the front repainted. £500-600 |
