| Lot 73 | A smokebox numberplate, 30522, from a (London & South Western Railway) N15 Class 4-6-0 No 522, BR 30522, built after Grouping by the Southern Railway at Eastleigh in July 1924. Allocated to Eastleigh by January 1948 and later Nine Elms and Salisbury from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 23 September 1961 and cut up at Eastleigh Works in the week ending 4 November 1961. Repainted, the BR(S) Eastleigh triangle cast on the back. £400-600 |
