A Nameplate ARUNDEL CASTLE, from a 400HP standard gauge 0-6-0 diesel-electric locomotive, built by Hudswell Clarke, Works No DE1076 of 1959. Built in association with Brush Electrical Engineering of Loughborough, who supplied the generator and electrical equipment. New to the Manchester Ship Canal Co. as their D4002. Later passed into preservation with the East Lancashire Light Railway at Bury, where it still remains. Cast brass, length 38¼", the front repainted. £200-350 |
