A smokebox numberplate, 47602, from a LMS Class 3F 0-6-0T No 16685 built by Beardmore, Works No 350, in 1928, renumbered 7602 in 1934, becoming BR 47602. Allocated to Speke Junction by January 1935 and later Crewe South, Alsager, Carlisle Upperby, Bury, Fleetwood and Skipton from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 8 January 1966 and despatched for scrap to T.W. Ward at Killamarsh on 22 April 1966. Repainted. £250-400 |
