| Lot 447 | A smokebox numberplate, 45263, from a LMS Class 5 4-6-0 No 5263 built by Armstrong Whitworth, Works No 1318, and allocated new to Trafford Park on 21 October 1936. Its later sheds included Leicester MR, Derby, Nottingham, Saltley, Oxley and Heaton Mersey from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 21 October 1967 and taken for scrap by Cashmores at Newport on 14 May 1968. Ex loco condition. £300-500 |
