A worksplate, LMS BUILT 1936, CREWE, cast brass, 10½"x6", the front lightly cleaned, together with its matching tenderplates, WATER CAPACITY 4000 GALLONS, cast brass, 10½"x6", the front lightly cleaned and LMS No 9369, 1936, cast iron, 7¾"x5¾", the front repainted. All three plates from the LMS Jubilee Class 4-6-0 No 5735 Built at Crewe and named COMET, a re-use of the name used on the Royal Scot No 6129. One of two Jubilees rebuilt with new boilers and exhaust systems in 1942 and fitted with smoke deflectors in 1950. Allocated new to Crewe North on 16 November 1936, is later sheds included Edge Hill, Camden, Willesden and Annesley from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 3 October 1964 and taken for scrap by Cashmores at Great Bridge on 14 January 1965.
