A smokebox numberplate, 32415, from a London Brighton & South Coast Railway E6 Class 0-6-2T No 415 built at Brighton in October 1905, becoming SR 2415 and BR 32415. A long time Bricklayers Arms engine, it spent a final few months at Dover from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 23 September 1961 and cut up at Ashford Works in the week ending 2 December 1961. Repainted, the BR(S) triangle on the back. £350-500 |
