| Lot 309 | A smokebox numberplate, 65583, from a Great Eastern Railway G58 Class 0-6-0 No 1233 built at Stratford in November 1910. It became LNER J17 Class No 8233 and was renumbered 5583 in 1946, becoming BR 65583. It spent most of its BR days at March with spells at South Lynn, Bury St Edmunds and Norwich from where it was withdrawn on 11 February 1962 and subsequently scrapped. The front repainted. £600-800 |
