A worksplate, VULCAN, 4712, 1936, from a LMS Class 8F 2-8-0 No 8035 which became BR 48035. Allocated new to Wellingborough on 25 August 1936, its later sheds included Royston, Derby, Kettering and Rugby with a final short stay at Oxley from where it was withdrawn on 5 March 1967 and taken for scrap by Cashmores at Great Bridge on 25 July 1967. Cast brass, 9"x5¼", the front repainted. £150-300 |
