Named at Manchester Piccadilly station in November 1983, after the founder of the world famous Halle Orchestra, still based in the city: the plates removed June 1993. Withdrawn in April 2004 and cut up by Sims Metals of Cardiff in October 2004. Cast aluminium, length 58¾", ex loco condition. £1500-1800 |
