A nameplate, DEVIZES CASTLE, from the GWR 4073 Castle Class 4-6-0 No 7002 built at Swindon in June 1946 and named after the Medieval fortification in the Wiltshire town, on a site now occupied by a Victorian era castle. The nameplate was previously carried by two earlier Castles, first by No 5050 built at Swindon in May 1936 (renamed Earl of St Germans in August 1937), then by No 5075 built in August 1937 (renamed Wellington in October 1940). Allocated to Landore by January 1948 No 7002 moved to Carmarthen in November 1956 and back to Landore in June 1958 before moving in November 1959 to Worcester from where it was withdrawn on 10 March 1964 and taken for scrap by Cashmores at Great Bridge on 3 June 1964.
