Lot 330 |
A nameplate NUTTALL, from a standard gauge 0-6-0ST built by Hunslet, works number 1685, in 1931, which went new to the contractors John Mowlem & Co Ltd, for use on the King George V Graving Dock contract at Southampton between 1931 and 1935. In 1948 it was sold to the National Coal Board, Walsall Wood Colliery, Staffordshire. It subsequently worked at a number of other collieries in the area before transfer to Lea Hall Colliery, Rugeley, where it was scrapped in August 1966.
