| Lot 302 | A nameplate, DORNEY COURT, from the GWR 2900 Saint Class 4-6-0 No 2940 built at Swindon in December 1911 and named when built after the Court one mile north-west of Windsor. At Cardiff Canton by January 1948, it was withdrawn from there on 17 January 1952 and cut up at Swindon Works during the four weeks ending on 19 April 1952. The plate has been repainted. £6000-8000 |
