| Lot 290 | A smokebox numberplate, 48326, from a LMS Class 8F 2-8-0 No 8326 built at Crewe in 1944, becoming BR 48326. Allocated new to Crewe South on 21 March 1944, it moved in 1947 to Buxton where it spent eleven years and, later, Widnes, Nuneaton, Warrington Dallam, Birkenhead and Sutton Oak from where it was withdrawn on 16 July 1966 and cut up by Drapers at Hull in the week ending 19 November 1966.
