| Lot 173 | A (GWR) cabside numberplate, 4173, from a 5101 Class 2-6-2T built at Swindon and allocated new to Stourbridge on 28 October 1949. Apart from a couple of years at Kidderminster, it spent all its working life at Stourbridge from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 5 December 1964 and taken for scrap by Cashmores at Great Bridge on 2 April 1965. Cast brass, the front repainted. £300-500 |
