| Lot 143 | A BR(W) cabside numberplate, 9471, from a 9400 Class 0-6-0PT built by Robert Stephenson & Hawthorns, Works No 7622, and allocated new on 9 April 1952 to Gloucester WR where it spent all its working life. Withdrawn in the week ending 5 September 1964, it was sold for scrap to T.W. Ward at Briton Ferry on the following 14 October. Cast brass, the front repainted. £350-500 |
