A smokebox numberplate, 61348, from a (LNER) B1 Class 4-6-0, one of only ten of this large Class built at Gorton, Works No 1006. Allocated new to Kittybrewster on 9 June 1949, where it spent nearly eight years before moving south of the border to Peterborough Spital Bridge and later March, Lincoln, Retford GN & GC, Doncaster, Frodingham and Colwick from where it was withdrawn on 26 December 1965 and despatched for scrap to Garnham Harris at Chesterfield on 15 March 1966.
