A nameplate, KINGSTHORPE HALL, from a GWR 4900 Hall Class 4-6-0 No 6950 built at Swindon in December 1942 but not named until April 1947 after the Hall in Northampton owned by Northampton Borough Council and now used as a community centre, one of only a handful of un-modified Halls whose nameplates have extended backplates. Allocated to Worcester by January 1948, it moved to Carmarthen in June 1961 and later Cardiff Canton and Cardiff East Dock from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 4 July 1964 and taken for scrap by Cashmores at Newport on 25 November 1964.
