| Lot 341 | A worksplate PECKETT 1038, 1906, from a standard gauge 0-4-0ST named LANCE, which went new to James Pain Ltd, Market Overton Ironstone Quarries, Rutland. Sold in 1917 via T. W. Ward to Whitecross Co Ltd, Warrington, Lancashire. In October 1966 it passed to the Railway Preservation Society at Chasewater, Staffordshire, where it was scrapped in March 1972. Engraved brass, 11½"x8¼", the front characters repainted. £250-400 |
