Auction Catalogue: Great Central Railwayana, 2 December 2017
Lot 333 |
A BR(E) poster board header, BRITISH RAILWAYS, LONG MELFORD, (flangeless) from a board situated at the station entrance. Long Melford was the junction north of Marks Tey where the routes to Bury St Edmunds and Cambridge diverged. Enamel, 104"x6", several chips to the edge and face, otherwise good. The sign has a degree of flexibility and the buyer would not need a vehicle with space to accommodate the full length of the sign. £200-350 |
| This lot sold for £950 to commission or postal bidder number 8213. |
Please note: the invoice will be posted to the winning commission or postal bidder, along with collection/delivery options, on the Tuesday following the sale. The winning bidder is asked to please await delivery of the invoice before contacting Great Central Railwayana.
