A worksplate NASMYTH WILSON, 1426, 1924, from a 5ft 3in gauge 4-4-2T, one of ten supplied by Nasmyth Wilson to the Great Northern Railway of Ireland (GNR(I)), running number 116, and used on both passenger and freight work. When the GNR(I)) was dissolved in 1958 the locomotive passed to the Coras Iompair Eireann (CIE) as 116N and was withdrawn in 1961. Cast brass, 13¾"x5½", in ex loco condition. £600-800 |
