| Lot 119 | A GWR cabside numberplate, 6126, from a 6100 Class 2-6-2T built at Swindon in October 1931. Allocated to Slough by January 1948 and later Southall, Reading, Slough again, Gloucester, Didcot and Oxford from where it was withdrawn on 31 December 1965 and taken for scrap by Cashmores at Newport on 9 June 1966. Cast iron, the front repainted, a weld repair between the first two numbers. £250-400 |
