| Lot 480 | A smokebox numberplate, 3604, from a GWR 8750 Class 0-6-0PT built at Swindon in January 1939. Allocated to St Philips Marsh by January 1948, it alternated between there and nearby Bristol Bath Road until moving in November 1960 to Swansea East Dock from where it was withdrawn on 28 December 1963 and sold for scrap to T.W. Ward at Briton Ferry on 28 February 1964. The numbers repainted, otherwise original condition. £250-400 |
