| Lot 476 | A worksplate, NORTH BRITISH LOCO Co Ltd, HYDE PARK WORKS, 16391, 1904, from a 3ft 6ins gauge 4-8-0 new to the Natal Government Railway in South Africa, their No 296. On the formation of South African Railways in 1912 it became their Class 1 No 1296. All were withdrawn by 1975. Cast brass, 7¾" diameter, the front cleaned but unpainted. £200-350 |
