A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 65822, N.B. LOCO Co, 1908, from a North Eastern Railway Class P3, LNER J27 Class, 0-6-0 No 1035 built by the North British Locomotive Co, Works No 18367, in June 1908. It was renumbered 5822 in 1946 and became BR 65822. Allocated by January 1948 to Percy Main, it moved three years later to South Blyth where it remained until withdrawal on 1 March 1965. It was sold for scrap to Hughes Bolckow, also of Blyth, and was received by them on 30 April 1965. Cast brass, 9"x5", cleaned but unpainted. £150-300 |
