A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 9645, COWLAIRS, 1891, from a North British Railway Class C 0-6-0 No 645 built at Cowlairs in February 1891, becoming LNER J36 Class No 9645, renumbered 5221 in 1946, BR 65221. A long time Eastfield engine, it spent a final four months at Kittybrewster from where it was withdrawn on 23 July 1959 and cut up at Inverurie Works on 19 November 1959. Cast brass, 9"x5", cleaned but unpainted. £200-350 |
