| Lot 373 | A worksplate, LMS BUILT 1947 HORWICH, from a LMS Class 4 2-6-0 No 43000, the Class leader, allocated new to Crewe South on 6 December 1947 and later Bletchley, Devons Road, Nuneaton, Carlisle Upperby, Canal and Kingmoor, and North Blyth from where it was withdrawn on 9 September 1967 and sold for scrap to Clayton Davie at Gateshead. Cast iron, 10¼"x6", the front repainted, the provenance recorded on a paper label on the ex loco back. £150-300 |
