| Lot 365 | A GWR cabside numberplate, 6840, from the 6800 Grange Class 4-6-0, HAZELEY GRANGE, built at Swindon in September 1937 and taking its name from Hazeley Grange Farm at Cleobury Mortimer near Kidderminster. A long time Pontypool Road loco, it spent a final couple of years at Neath Court Sart and Llanelly from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 20 February 1965 and cut up at Swindon Works. Cast brass, the front repainted. £1200-1600 |
