| Lot 31 | A GWR cabside numberplate, 1141, from a former Swansea Harbour Trust standard gauge 0-4-0ST built by Peckett, works No 1053, in June 1906, SHT No 11. After the Trust was absorbed by the GWR in July 1923, it became GWR No 929 and was renumbered 1141 in March 1948. Allocated to the ex Rhondda & Swansea Bay Railway shed Danygraig, from where it was withdrawn on 18 July 1952 and cut up at Swindon Works in the four weeks ending 4 October 1952. Cast brass, the front repainted. £500-800 |
