A worksplate, BEYER PEACOCK, 1921 MANCHESTER, of Irish origin. Locos built by BP in 1921 for Irish companies were, for the Belfast & County Down Railway, 5ft 3ins gauge 4-6-4T, Works Nos 5999-6002, their Nos 22-25, and 4-4-2T, Works Nos 6073/74/97/98, their Nos 13,18, 19 and 21, and for the Great Northern Railway (Ireland), 0-6-0 goods engines, Works Nos 6048-54, their Class SG3 numbered between 49 and 202. Cast brass, 10"x5¾", in ex loco condition. £300-400 |
