| Lot 275 | A worksplate, NORTH BRITISH RAILWAY Co Ltd, HYDE PARK WORKS, 16370, 1904, from a Natal Government Railway 3ft 6ins gauge Hendrie B type 4-8-0 No 275, one of the first class of tender locos on the NGR. It became South African Railways Class 1 No 1245 in 1912. All were withdrawn by 1975. Cast brass, 7¾", service knocks, the front lightly cleaned. £200-350 |
