A worksplate, ARMSTRONG WHITWORTH, 470, 1922, from a Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway 0-6-0 No 59 built in April 1922, becoming LMS Class 4F No 4559 and BR 44559. It spent all is working life on the S&D at Bath from where it was withdrawn on 7 January 1963 and subsequently scrapped. Cast brass, 5¾"x4", the front repainted. £400-600 |
