| Lot 237 | A worksplate, VULCAN FOUNDRY, 4710, 1936, from a LMS Stanier 8F Class 2-8-0 No 8033 which became BR 48033. Allocated new to Toton on 19 August 1936, its later sheds included Kirkby, Barrow Hill, Westhouses, Birkenhead, Sutton Oak, Springs Branch and Patricroft from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 29 June 1968 and cut up by Drapers at Hull during the week ending 4 January 1969. Cast brass 9"x5¼", the front repainted. £300-500 |
