| Lot 234 | A GWR cabside numberplate, 5693, from a 5600 Class 0-6-2T built at Swindon in January 1927. Allocated to Barry by January 1948, it moved in 1950 to Treherbert where it spent its remaining years until withdrawal in the week ending 12 January 1963. It was sold for scrap to Hayes at Bridgend on 26 August 1963. Cast iron, in ex loco condition. £300-500 |
