| Lot 188 | A worksplate, NORTH BRITISH LOCOMOTIVE Co, HYDE PARK WORKS, 24760, 1942, from a LMS Class 8F 2-8-0 No 8187 which became BR 48187. Allocated new to Motherwell on 21 April 1942 and later Toton, Hasland, Nottingham and Springs Branch from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 7 January 1967 and sold for scrap to Cashmores at Newport, taken by them on 20 May 1967. Cast brass, 7¾" diameter, the front repainted. £250-400 |
