An award cup for the Furness Railway Coupling Contest, The Ramsden Challenge Cup 1912. Won in 1912 & 1913 by Guard Wilkinson, coupling and uncoupling 15 wagons in 56.25 seconds, height 11½", together with a second cup for 1913, twenty wagons, one minute, twenty four seconds. Height 7½", each hallmarked silver. A large framed photograph of the winner accompanies this lot. (3) £250-400
