| Lot 133 | A smokebox numberplate, 5353, from a GWR 53XX Class 2-6-0 built at Swindon in August 1918. It was modified in January 1928 by transferring more weight to the front end and renumbered 8353 but was re-converted to its original condition and had its original numbered restored in June 1944. Allocated to Neyland by January 1948, it moved in September 1953 to Carmarthen from where it was withdrawn on 2 May 1960 and cut up at Swindon Works in the week ending 18 June 1960.
