A late 19th century 10" oak-cased roundhead clock supplied to the GNR by Potts of Leeds and used in Connington North Cabin, Holme. Overall height 13" Dovetailed box with two side doors and bottom door lacking its lock. Sectional dial surround containing original spun brass bezel and sight ring. Dial with minor damage written LNER 12102 over shadow of W. Potts & Sons G.N.R. Leeds 8*2. Chain fusee movement between shaped plates with feet. Complete with replaced pendulum, winder and sheet confirming its location. £250-400 |
