A nameplate, BENGAL, from the LMS Jubilee Class 6P 4-6-0 No 5577, later BR 45577, built by the North British Locomotive Co, Works No 24135, in 1934 and named on 30 March 1937 after an Indian state. Allocated new to Crewe North on 18 September 1934, it soon moved to Carlisle Upperby and in January 1936 to Carlisle Kingmoor where it remained until moving to Bristol Barrow Road in September 1952. It stayed at Barrow Road until September 1961 when it was transferred to Shrewsbury from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 5 September 1964 and sold for scrap to Birds Commercial Motors at Morriston.
