| Lot 429 | A smokebox numberplate, 48304, from a LMS Class 8F 2-8-0 No 8304 built at Crewe and allocated new to Westhouses on 28 October 1943. It moved the following year to Toton where it stayed for almost fifteen years and its later sheds were Cricklewood, Annesley, Kirkby and Northwich from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 2 March 1968 and despatched for scrap to George Cohen at Kettering on 10 May 1968. Ex loco condition. £300-500 |
